Dugan finishes second at NBC Jamboree; Maumee Middle School sweeps team titles

Arriana Dugan placed second at last week’s Northern Buckeye Conference Jamboree, hosted by Oak Harbor.
Dugan came through in 20 minutes, 15 seconds. Teammate Kylie Brown finished in 29:42.
The Maumee boys team placed fifth out of seven teams at the Jamboree. Gabe Dario placed 15th in 18:34.08, and Ian Whetstone was right behind him in 16th (18:34.36).
Aaron Powell took 21st for the Panthers in 18:59.9. David Ybarra finished in 20:14.77, Noah Wagner in 21:10.38, Carlos Ballez in 21:53.44, and Luke Reeves in 24:51.04.
The Maumee Middle School teams swept the team titles at their Jamboree. The boys team finished with 26 points as four runners placed in the top-10.
Chase Dario was the individual champion, finishing in 11:51. Wyatt Sweet was second (12:06), Hunter Martin was fourth (12:21) and Bryce Brown was eighth (13:25).
The girls team scored 37 points with three runners placing in the top-10.
Cienna Fraley took the individual title with a time of 12:40. Avery Puffenberger was sixth in 14:26, and Jordyn Dugan was ninth in 14:42.
